Terms of Services, Conditions & Confidentiality Policies:
Charm Torres of Charm Astrology functions within the scope of her profession. She will not replace or claim any ability to treat conditions requiring medical or qualified professional attention. She shall never purport to offer legal, medical, or financial advice outside of her scope of practice. All offerings do not replace the counselling services of mental health providers. She shall refer clients to qualified professionals as needed.
Astrology is a divinatory and healing art system that can be utilized as a consulting and counselling tool. By collaborating with Charm Torres, you do not and cannot hold her legally responsible for any subsequent actions you take after engaging with her work.
Electional Astrology cannot fully guarantee success for ventures sought out and client(s) agrees and understands and thus waive Charm Torres of any liabilities thereafter.
Any information you share is kept private and confidential and will not be shared with others without your explicit consent. Your physical files are retained and stored in a secure place. Your contact information will never be shared with any third party.
All gifts must be redeemed within 1 year from the date of purchase. Unredeemed gifts are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Full fees must be paid to secure all bookings. If this is an issue, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss options such as payment schedules and sliding scale needs. These options are always available for discussion. Otherwise, appointments booked without payment will be automatically cancelled within 24 hours of the request. This administrative process ensures all dates are open for other clients.
Cancellation & Refund Policies:
All services and applicable fees once incurred are not refundable. This is not negotiable.
All products which include workshop recordings are not refundable.
Live astrology readings require hours of preparation. As well, my clients are only able to book appointments up to 48 hours ahead. Cancellations last minute prevent other clients from booking a spot you had previously scheduled and do not give me enough time to replace time lost for other work opportunities. Mutual agreement of both our time ensures that I remain available to all clients in a timely manner and honours the work that has been done prior to our appointment. However, under my discretion and in the spirit of ethical entrepreneurship, honesty and care, in the event of illness, emergencies, tragedies & environmental disasters, providing your timely correspondence prior to your appointment up to 72 hours after, your scheduled appointment for live astrology and tarot readings can be rescheduled once and cancellation/rescheduling fees waived. Otherwise, clients are always welcome to purchase services anew.
If I am unable to make our scheduled appointment, I will offer to rebook you at your earliest convenience or will issue you a 100% refund. I will also provide you with as much notice as possible.
100% of the service fee is refundable if cancelling at least 3 days before the scheduled appointment for live astrology and tarot readings. If the same individual rebooks and cancels within the refundable 3-day period twice and more within 30 days, any applicable payment processing fees will be deducted from the refunding total.
If you are not a returning client within the past 3 years and you booked an appointment for returning clients only, your booking will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded minus a non-refundable CAD$20 fee. So please make sure you don't make a mistake and book appropriately for New Clients or Returning Clients.
The Month Ahead for the next 3 months’ sessions is booked in 3 monthly sessions. It’s advised and preferred to book 3 consecutive months however the client can choose to pick which months they want to book as long as they are done within a year of purchase. Once purchased, unredeemed sessions are not refundable and can only be rescheduled as per the rescheduling policies below.
Any remaining funds from gift certificates are non-refundable. For non-offering-specific gift certificates, the remaining balance can only be redeemed if used for other services.
Cancellation up to 48 hours prior to scheduled live astrology and tarot readings can be rescheduled once. Cancellation less than 48 hours and up to 24 hours prior to a scheduled live astrology and tarot readings can be rescheduled once and is subject to a late cancellation fee of CAD$35, otherwise, the fee is non-refundable.
Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to scheduled live astrology and tarot readings, no show and lateness for more than 10 mins for a 30-45 mins service; 15 mins for a 1-hour service; and 20 mins for all other services above 1 hour; forfeits the service and fees are non-refundable. Rescheduling can only be done if purchasing a service anew. If you can’t afford to purchase anew and you would like to reschedule your missed appointment due to a less than 24 hours notice and a no-show, I have a rescheduling fee of CAD$55 and you must contact me within 72 hours of your missed appointment.
